|All set in the car and ready to go|
Our first night was at the Bruneau Dunes State Park in Idaho. We rolled in kinda late Sunday night. The campground was really empty with just a few people. It was a nice campground with clean bathrooms.

Our next stop was to head through Utah and go see Arches and Canyonlands. We stayed at the Archview Resort. The staff were nice, but it was hard to sleep with the campground so close to the highway. We drove through Arches on Monday night and got watch an amazing sunset. We also got to go through Double Arch on a short hike at dusk. It was a nice moment. It was so quite and calm.
The next morning we got up early and went drove up to Delicate Arch. We had to see the big Utah Arch! Afterwards we drove over to Canyonlands. It was a really nice park. Our favorite part was a short hike up to Mesa Arch. It had amazing views. It was funny, when we came home, I noticed that our generic screen saver was actually the view from that arch!

After Colorado, we headed down to Mesa Verde, which was my favorite park of this whole trip. It was such a neat place, I wish that we had planned to spend more time there. One the night we got there, we got stuck up at the Visitor's Center on Chapin Mesa. There was a medical emergency that meant we could not drive away. It was a great opportunity though for us to eat dinner while the sunset over Spruce Tree House. It was a beautiful place steeped in history.
There is so much more to our trip and I will post it soon!
